Infant -

It was a story my grandma told me when I was very young. She told me about my great-great-grandfather on my mum's side going back to his farm from the nearest village, taking medical herbs with him for his now then sick wife. The road was foggy, as usual in the countryside. While on his horse, he noticed a baby wrapped up in a white blanket in the middle of the road. When he picked the baby, it had very skinny limbs with an inflated belly, and it was still alive. Since he was very close to his farm, he picked it up and see if he could save its life. On his way to the farm, he noticed that the baby was getting heavier and heavier to carry as he got closer. He topped his horse and looked at the baby again, and it had the face of a grown child, then the thing, opened his eyelids, his eyes were missing and then it talked to him with a raspy voice. In shock, he dropped it, and it started unwrapping itself, his horse started running and when looking back, the thing now had larger extremities, and it walked on 4 further and further to the woods, never to see it again. That was it, she didn't tell me any more about it.
